GIRLS IN AIRPORTS feat. HALVCIRKEL

On Friday, February 6, at 8 p.m., Girls in Airports will turn music upside down—from transcendent African rhythms and psychedelic indie sounds to Nordic melancholy and the dreamy language of jazz, perfect for the late hours of the night. Their distinctive sound has taken them on tour around the world – from China and South Korea to the USA and Brazil – and made them one of the flagships of Danish jazz. Now they meet the visionary string ensemble Halvcirkel, who have made it an art to break free from the confines of classical music and have shared the stage with Sigur Rós, among others. Together they have created Imaginal – GIA's 10th album, out in November 2025 – and a concert experience for the adventurous. Here, ancient folk tunes are interwoven with futuristic chamber music, and improvisation opens the door to unknown territory.
