In recent years, the harbour has seen many exciting works of art. Most photographed in the city is undoubtedly Jens Galschiot's "Survival of the Fattest" at Havnepladsen. The sculpture is popularly called "The Fat Lady".
In 2006, along with other works by Jens Galschiot, it was exhibited in various places around the city. "The Fat Lady" became so popular that money was raised so that a new cast could be made of the 3.5 m high bronze sculpture, which the following year was permanently erected on Havnepladsen.
