Generator is run by the self-governing institution Generator and the association Medspil in close collaboration with Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality and the owner of the buildings, Ringkøbing-Skjern Forsyning.
We are a municipally supported and 100% non-profit organization, run by volunteer enthusiasts from Ringkøbing and the surrounding area.
Our goal and vision is to create a cultural center that can support a thriving music environment in and around Ringkøbing - a gathering point for music and culture enthusiasts who can meet across age and interests. This will be achieved through a vibrant association life, rehearsal rooms for young and older talents, as well as high-quality concert experiences that will embrace a wide range of people, but also challenge the musical curiosity of our audience.
The music at Generator is organized by DSI Generator. But the ambition is to attract other autonomous and independent organizer associations to create a vibrant and diverse content.
