On Friday, May 8, Danish singer and songwriter Theresa Rex, who has a long list of international hits and more than a billion streams to her name, will be performing. Among other things, she is the voice behind one of the biggest hits to come out of Denmark, Martin Jensen's multi-platinum winning single Solo Dance from 2016. As a hopeful jazz singer, Theresa Rex was discovered singing on a street corner in Aarhus, where she could hardly have dreamed of hearing and seeing herself on TV, radio, and the internet. And as recently as 2023, she and Afrojack reached #1 on the US charts with the hit ‘Let Me Go’. She is a songwriter and artist in high demand, and in addition to major features and collaborations, Theresa also releases her own vibrant Scandi pop, delivered with powerful live vocals that are known for their distinctive sound.
