NIKOLAJ NØRLUND m/BAND

On Thursday, March 19, Nikolaj Nørlund will perform. Since his solo debut with Navnløs (1996), in which he interpreted poems by Michael Strunge, he has challenged and pushed his own boundaries and those of his audience with impressive and highly diverse projects in music and poetry. He followed up with Nye Optagelser (1997), which marked his debut as a Danish-language songwriter. Nørlund's latest release is the single “Det bedste vi har lært” (The Best We Have Learned), which has been played extensively on P6BEAT over the summer. In 2023, he released the album “Alle Søstrene” (All the Sisters), which was warmly received by both audiences and the press and cemented Nørlund's ability to evolve: “The strength of the songs on the album is that they all point in specific directions and hold untold stories... everything works perfectly on the album, which strikes just the right balance between light, melodic touches and dark twists” -GAFFA
